Ratio of purified wastewater ≠ water efficiency

"Net wastewater ratio" is the ratio of purified water to wastewater. If 1 liter of raw water can produce 0.6 liters of purified water and discharge 0.4 liters of wastewater, "net wastewater ratio" is 0.6 to 0.4, that is, 3:2. The water efficiency is the ratio of the net water volume to the total water inflow, that is, 0.6 l divided by 1 L, the water efficiency is 60%.
